GOLO EULER

Golo Euler studied at the “Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding” in 2002/06. In those years as a student he played at the “Metropol Theater” (“Vernon God Little”, “Trainspotting”) and at the “Academy Theater Munich (“The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents”, “Hamlet”). Further engagements followed at the “Braunschweig State Theatre” as well as “Theater Hall 7” in Munich.

 

In 2006 Golo Euler played his first leading role in the television drama “Auftauchen”. This was followed by numerous film and television productions like “Westwind”, “The Grand Budapest Hotel” and “Lotta & das ewige Warum”.

 

2011 he was honoured with the German Cinema New Talent Award as “Best Actor” for his role in the feature film “Kasimir and Karoline” at Filmfest München.

 

Once again, he made headlines with the highly praised and awarded television film “Tatort - Im Schmerz geboren”, there he appeared alongside Ulrich Tukur and Ulrich Matthes. In 2016 the actor starred in the films “The Last Pig” and “Fado”. On TV, he was seen in “Anderswo”, “Hattinger und der Nebel” and “Kommissarin Heller”.

 

2017 he appeared in “Laim und die Zeichen des Todes” as well as in a leading role in the TV movies “Leichtmatrosen” and “Tatort – Hardcore”. Furthermore Golo Euler and Devid Striesow have also taken the lead roles in the new ZDF series “Schwartz & Schwartz”.

 

2018 the actor appeared in the movies “Tatort – Unter Kriegern”, “Die Toten von Salzburg“, “Der Staatsanwalt”, “Schattenfreundin” and in the cinema movie “The most beautiful girl in the world”.

 

2019 he starred in “Kirschblüten & Dämonen”, the sequel of „Kirschblüten Hanami“ from directress Doris Dörrie and the second “Schwartz & Schwartz” movie. He also finished the shooting for the Netflix production “Zeit der Geheimnisse”. For his performance in the movie “Tatort – Unter Kriegern” he is nominated as Best Supporting Actor for the German Actor Award.

The actor publicly supports the Biodiversity Foundation of Dirk Steffens.
