Amin Baahmed is a German actor, dancer, model, and journalist. He was born in Ottersberg in 1998 and grew up in Bremen. His film career already includes notable projects, including the feature film "Kundschafter des Friedens 2" (director: Robert Thalheim), the title role in the short film "Petja" (2021), and the lead role in the music video "Slow" (2024).

He also appeared as a speaker at re:publica 2025. In his presentation “The Influence of Anime on Migrant Biographies: Identification through Shared Otherness,” he highlighted the importance of anime as a space of identification for young people with migrant backgrounds, focusing on representation, belonging, and shared experiences of otherness.

In addition to acting, Amin is a trained dancer specializing in breaking. He also works as a reporter for the youth media network Bremen NEXT and COSMO. He is the host of the TikTok series Chai Society and the podcast “Parallel Dazu” (COSMO), in which he explores socially relevant topics with journalistic depth.
